Almost exactly 24 hours later, at 12:12am Saturday, the post received word of a possible drug overdose on Spyglass St in Homer. Medics attempted to revive the 26-year-old female, but they were unsuccessful. No foul play was suspected. The deaths were all unrelated, starting with a natural death at 12:08am Friday, March 11. Officers reported no signs of foul play in the death of a 56-year-old man living on the Sterling Highway near milepost 168. Next of kin was on scene. The third call came in at 12:03am on Sunday for another natural death, this time of an 80-year-old woman living off North Fork Road. Next of kin was again on scene. The fourth death was reported Sunday evening at 7:49pm. Officers were called for a welfare check on a 44-year-old woman, but arrived to find her deceased in her Anchor Point home. Next of kin was notified.
